At least I like the idea of the Delica, I’ve never driven one or had to deal with one but I like the idea a lot. ITs just the right size for a camper van, with all the clearance and traction you need.

Tiny, but apparently still can’t get it between the lines.

The interior was torn up to get access to the engine, it’s been there a little while.

Apparently they are ludicrously popular in Canada. There are entire service centers that only work on JDM Delicas. They’re pretty much a modern, more reliable, more capable VW Bus.

thats what I hear. I’ve started seeing them more and more down here. Speaking of which I also saw a very well cared for Type2 (t3) camper with a beautiful brown on tan there, but I didn’t get a picture. I’ll get one later when I go back this afternoon.

BC has a lot.. enough that there are bad apples around.. My cousin got burned with one that ended up being a basket case.

I like the looks of the 3rd gen;
more than the 4th gen space;
Would still rather HiAce;

Saw a lifted 4th gen in Hokkaido back in 2014. They like to lift them there, it’s funny. minivans as bro trucks.

I thought about getting one, but their prices are going up a lot for good recent imports at least. There are cheaper ones but they always seem pretty questionable
